This blog aims to raise awareness and start the discussion on how misogynist music can negatively impact society. We want people thinking twice about what music they buy and send to the top of the charts and how popular music can perpetuate rape culture, and set negative standards on how women are treated and overly sexualised.

Who we are:

We are media students who are passionate feminists. We care about equality, and as avid music lovers they find the sexualisation of women in popular music as a trend that needs to be changed. They started this blog & accompanying social media channels for a university assignment, but are genuinely passionate about the influence pop culture can have on the issues of the day. They hope to start a few fiery discussions, and get people thinking.
